I like season 8 better the more I see it. But they should’ve ended with season 7. The demon world thought they were dead and they got to finally have normal lives like they wanted. Everything was wrapped up to end the series. Would’ve been a good series finale.
Still, I really like season 8 concept. To think that the needed to kill other witches, including one of Paige's charges was really disturbing. It reinforced the idea of them as selfcentered, and the struggle to fight. Plus, Leo and the Angel of destiny was another important concept since they never could stop or defeat the Angel of Death, Leo was the first and only one (that proved how powerful they were at that time)

Posted 7 years ago, and they tell us since last month it's the theme only used on Netflix, lmao it's bullshit guys.. The first time I was listened him, I was hated him really, because that replace the real original opening of Charmed, but after, when I listen this song out of normal episode, I realy like it. I'm just really disapointed that it so short, they haven't make a longest edition. But, if anyone find the full version, I'm really interested to listen him. (Sorry for my bad english, i'm french speaker).
I don't like the new theme. It sounds weird and so "un-charmed". It doesn't even fit with the ending theme.
I like it but prefer the old theme because the lyrics describes the plot of the show. The three sisters trying to balance their charmed destiny and their everyday normal lives especially the lyrics "I am human and I need to be loved" .
@@cw1905 It makes me sad that new fan who discovered the show on Netflix have no idea how awesome the opening theme was with the original song. It's so bland now.

This tune is only used on Netflix and season 8 DVD. The old one is still used on re-runs on TV today.

@@Sean.Gathew No this theme is only used on DVD and streaming services such as Netflix. Reason being that the rights to the original theme used in the other 7 seasons had expired by the time the 8th season became available and was not renewed and this theme was used instead. The original theme how soon is now is still used on Network reruns.

@@Sean.Gathew The original theme " How soon is now" was not created exclusively for the show. It was already a well known song and was actually used in the movie "The Craft" so they had to aquire the rights to use it as the Charmed theme song. The contract with the permission rights to use the song was up and wasn't renewed. Other shows have done this as well. Dawson's Creek used a different theme song in network reruns because they lost the rights to the original theme song which was Paula Cole's " I don't want to wait."
